Windmill Farm, was called The Caterpillar Catfish Cookhouse and is under new management, who are busy renovating the self-catering units. You can choose between the older units which are cheaper in price or the newer units which are a bit more in cost.
There are also B&B rooms available in the main house which has an amazing restaurant situated in it as well.

There are 9 self-catering accommodation bungalows at Windmill Farm, consisting of 8 two-sleeper bungalows and 1 four- sleeper bungalow. There are now new bed and breakfast rooms that include ensuite bathrooms and a delicious breakfast.
The two-sleeper bungalows each have a kitchenette with mini-oven. All cutlery and crockery are provided. There is an en-suite bathroom with a bath or shower, and a double or twin bed option is available. Please bring own bath towels. Television with limited DSTV and braai facility available.
The four-sleeper bungalow has two bedrooms (one with twin beds, the other with a double bed) and a bathroom (with bath). There is a dining room as well as a fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave. All cutlery and crockery are provided. Please bring own bath towels. The unit also has a small lounge with television (limited DSTV) and private braai facilities.
All bungalows are serviced daily (except on a Sunday).
The Royal Natal National Park – with its various mountain hikes, walks, trout fishing and horse riding – is a mere 20 minutes’ drive away.
For the fishing enthusiast, the beautiful Sterkfontein dam, filled with its “great yellows”, is on the doorstep.
Enjoy mountain biking? Then set off on one of the numerous mountain bike trails around Windmill Farm.
Witsieshoek Sentinel Park is an hour’s drive away. Climb the mighty Sentinel with its chain ladders to the top of the Tugela Falls – the second highest falls in the world (950m).
